Rachelle Dean is the Ventura County District Attorney. She joined the district attorney’s office in 1999 as a law clerk and was a Deputy District Attorney shortly after being admitted to the California State Bar. Before she was appointed Deputy DA, she worked in the district attorney’s office as a Deputy Public Defender. She was assigned to the General Felony and Major Narcotics Units and supervised the Juvenile Prosecutions and Misdemeanor Units.
