Cydcor has been sued numerous times over the years, alleging a variety of violations, including:

  • Wage and hour violations: In 2011, a group of Cydcor employees filed a class-action lawsuit alleging that the company had violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) by failing to pay them overtime wages and by misclassifying them as independent contractors. The lawsuit was eventually settled for $1.5 million.
  • Deceptive trade practices: Cydcor has also been sued for deceptive trade practices, alleging that the company misleads potential employees about the nature of the job and the earning potential. In 2018, the California Attorney General’s Office filed a lawsuit against Cydcor alleging that the company had engaged in unfair and deceptive business practices, including misrepresenting the amount of money that employees could earn and the type of work they would be doing. The lawsuit was eventually settled for $10 million.
  • Disability discrimination: In 2019, a former Cydcor employee filed a lawsuit alleging that the company had discriminated against her because of her disability. The employee alleged that Cydcor had failed to provide her with reasonable accommodations for her disability and had fired her after she complained about the discrimination. The lawsuit is still pending.

In addition to these lawsuits, Cydcor has also been the subject of numerous complaints to the Better Business Bureau. The most common complaints allege that Cydcor is a scam company that misleads potential employees and does not pay them the wages that they are owed.

It is important to note that Cydcor denies all of the allegations against it. The company has stated that it is committed to complying with the law and that it treats its employees fairly.
